Tangled up in Thought

as I sit in one of my last classes of my educational career...for now...my very cynical British professor rambles on about education and how it means very little to most of us. id love to argue this point but it seems to have become the truth as my time comes to an end. education is what you make of it: paintings, poems, discussions, music, passion, or nothing. below is an incredible work by GC of RIONS SURF. he never fails to amaze with each coming work. the tangled Medusa web made me think of how education can lead us in so many different directions and how it means numerous emotions to each person. 

create your own education. 

take the web and lead your own life. 

learn from a stranger.  

lead a passionate life. 

break out of the system.

question EVERYTHING.

T is for Turtle

before the SERFexperiment was created, seven people were given their animal counterparts. we believe that everyone has the ability to have a strong connection to some aspect of nature. whenever I am in the water and having a difficult time, or get pulled out of my comfort zone one of these little buddies show up, without fail. there is no doubt that the sea turtle is always looking out for me. 

so here is to everyone finding their connection to the natural world around us. happy Thursday family.

a year to remember

as we sit through a mellow morning on the rock I got to clicking around and started to remember just how much the surf community has gone through this past year and just in the short four months of 2011. Happy Tuesday Pretty People, 


I know we've been sharing the great news of a rad upcoming package that RION SURF donated for a lucky viewer, but if SERF doesn't post than you dont VIEW. Our apologies for lacking so hard on the new content. We are back on track after a couple weeks of continuos birthday celebrations and good times.
